The dose (6 tbs a day) may have also caused an issue. I think that the custom collagen caused an allergic reaction and that now i may be reacting to the great lakes product because of it. The only change I had made to my routine that week was trying the hydrolyzed collagen/gelatin. I put raw milk (or you could use whatever kind of milk you drink) in a mason jar, add in two spoonfuls of DandyBlend (healthy, herbal coffee), a dash of cinnamon, a tiny bit of freshly ground nutmeg, and two tablespoons of gelatin. Collagen Hydrolysate is easily dissolved in smoothies, juice, coffee, etc. Simply add 1 tablespoon of gelatin powder instead of protein powder. Collagen Hydrolysate is a form of gelatin and the amino acid profiles are the same. 2 3 tablespoons a day sounds about right to make a difference to your gut. Buy some gelatin and add it to your 2.0 to make it thicker if that is what it takes to make you feel more satisfied. There really isn’t a limit to how much gelatin should be eaten in a day, though many say.
